Bicitante is an educational, ecologic, urban project created in occasion of the Remida Day in 2005 with the collaboration of children and young people from the infant toddler centre to the university, teachers and parents.
An unusual collection of unexpected bikes created with traditional drawings and with waste materials of REMIDA, which are revisited, reinvented and recomposed in the digital environment. A possible dialogue among sustainability, creativity, education and civic life.
The project involved the creation of more than 700 drawings of surprising and ironic bikes, which has become a permanent installation along the underpass of the railway station.
Many bikes is now a book published by Reggio Children.
